March 15, 2024 - A classic riesling nose - because of the age the color is more golden - you can fell the age - we are getting toasted caramel, a lot og grape and also some citrus - acidity is well integrated - still medium plus - and good long aftertaste - but not a complex wine - the wine is still drinking well - we se a drinking window the next 3-5 years. We will give a solid 91.
January 28, 2017 - German wine tasting followed by a Lunch (@ de Nederlanden): Beautiful and clean bouquet with flowers, white fruits, honey and butter impressions. On the palate beautiful wine with a lovely balance between acidity and sweetness, minerals, clean, a good length and not bone dry. A great pleasure! 92+
January 28, 2017 - A German Wine Tasting-cum-Lunch (Restaurant De Nederlanden *, Vreeland, NL): Wonderful tension between tropical fruit and high but well integrated acidity, very complex, vibrant and lively, intense and linear, energetic and long, quite a stand-out in this line-up.
July 15, 2016 - Quite rich nose and palate, but not too complex. Wasn't too interesting to drink comparing to the rest of the wines on the table. Also not enough precision.
June 11, 2016 - Tyske superstjerner (German superstars) (S'vinbar, Aarhus): Almost burgundian rich nose. high acidity and some bitterness on the palate - a little meursault like. Lacking a bit of balance.

Monday, VDP- presentation, Hotel Jacob, Hamburg, Germany: next one: DISAPPOINTING! lack of everything which a very good Riesling normally has on the palate, very smooth, but lacking power for such a young wine, really boaring, flat, short aftertaste, puh! what had happened to one of the famous german Riesling- producers in former decades? 81-?
