May 4, 2024 - The nose was quite shy at first but it woke up with air and showed complex and nuanced notes of citrus, flowers, a hint of smoke, and a bit of oak. Excellent balance with similar flavors, well integrated oak, and lots of depth. Nice finish. Phenomenal wine that is all about nuance rather than in-your-face power. There's not shortage of flavor, though and it kept changing with time in the glass. Wonderful!

December 12, 2023 - Nose: sweet potato, white flower, coconut water
Notes: Unfortunately this is a bit too advanced and I think this is marginally premoxed. I've had a bottle of Pucelles from the same vintage before and somehow it's also not so satisfactory but clearly not in the same context. I am not sure if this is bottle variation or simply is the issue of 2011. I'm inclined to think that it's the vintage rather than sourcing as both bottles were in pristine condition and from different sources.

November 4, 2022 - The one with Liz (Home): Pale yellow in glass. Absolutely loved the bouquet on this from the get go, intoxicating kaffir lime/curry leaf, raw sesame, lemon butter and jasmine. This had a touch of unriped apricots, a ton of minerals and white flowers (lilies and jasmine). Overall this was showing good strength, tension but most importantly, incredible precision with crisp and zingy acidity.

March 12, 2022 - Very similar to the ‘10 from the previous night the ‘11 being perhaps a trifle less concentrated but still pale and wonderful.

Dry, acidic, tart, with mineral and lemon peel. Lacks complexity and too acidic

August 21, 2021 - Get the sense this is too young or in a sort of dumb phase. No Leflaive signature. Green / underripe. Lacking definition. No technical flaws.

May 7, 2021 - Nose- lemons, tropical fruits, flowers & a possible smoky note. Oddly enough I didn't notice and signs of reductive winenaking which is something I associate with this domaine.
Palate- lemons, spices, lots of minerals, zippy acidity in a full body but very silky on the tongue. I double decanted this yesterday but it's still tight & needs plenty of cellar time. A very nice wine but not in the same league as the 2010 at this stage.

January 12, 2021 - A half hour of air and this can handle more. Initial scents of green apple, lime, light smoke, lily?, and dry stone. Taste has a gentle mix of apple, lemon, a touch of grapefruit. Gets a little sweeter and buttery over time. Initially quite reticent on the palate. Good acidic zing. Considering the name and the appellation, respectable, not exceptional. Chalk it up to 2011 I guess.
