March 19, 2023 - Disgorged Feb 2014. Pale gold. Pronounced aroma of red apple, honey, chamomile, peach. Dense with touch of almond, mineral, sour plum.
June 3, 2018 - Bracing levels of acidity. Very refreshing.
June 10, 2017 - Nose: Apple, greenish, mineral , a bit smoky came later
Palate: very dry, fruit quite lean, apple dominated, quite one dimension, greenish, mineral tone.
Maybe vintage character, not recommended, very green through drinking.
April 26, 2016 - Two visitors, three birthdays and seventeen wines from all over. (ABA Turkish Restaurant): Quite high in acidity and the bead is initially a bit too frothy for my taste, but there are pleasant apple, citrus, biscuit and chalky mineral flavors and aromas. Clean and refreshing and much better once the bubbles calm down. B+.
November 14, 2015 - Annual Bolomey, Sprezzatura & Clavelin Wine Tasting (Restaurant Choux, Amsterdam, NL): Like the Fidèle 2012 tasted just before, this is a beautifully precise expression of grape and terroir. It is quite a forceful Chardonnay (even in 2011), but with the mineral freshness to balance the weight of fruit and the absence of dosage lends the wine a very clean and pure feel.
August 31, 2015 - 2011 vintage definitely shows here. All a bit out of balance and shrill, as another drinker noted. Showed better after 1+ open but this will never amaze anyone.
August 18, 2015 - Behöver något år till för att rundas av lite.
October 13, 2014 - Tart lemon and sourdough. No dosage and this shows as this is out of balance with shrill acidity. Overall impression of underripeness. First time having this wine - pretty disappointing, but perhaps this is more about the '11 vintage than this wine/producer.
