November 1, 2014 - Oh that was simply lovely. Gold yellow color, beautiful aromas of lemon custard, flowers, and caramelized lemon peel. On the palate very smooth, even oily and slightly saline as well. It offers plenty of flavors of honey, citrus, bitter orange skin(which I love) as well as marmelade, slight anise, cloves with plenty of wet stone mineral ish~ and not at all 'over cooked' like I had feared. Enough freshness to lift up the back end with pleasant acidity well present in the bottle. As I am swirling this wine on my palate, I wonder if a leisurely surfing would feel this pleasant as I am being wrapped up by this waves and waves of aromas, flavors and making me not swallow so fast... This is not a light weight, but compare to some of the Californian Chardonnay, it may seem airy even. Very nice and ready to be enjoyed. Cheers,

March 29, 2013 - Surprisingly youthful colour, just beginning to deepen. The nose had great drive and offers red apple, oatbran and fresh cobnuts. In the mouth no shortage of acidity, a little ressidual sugar plumps it up. Lively and fine but with a slight lack of pithiness. What a revelation!

Finale longue beurre-citron-grenadilla.

November 25, 2010 - Had this w/family over Thanksgiving dinner. Golden yellow hue. Let breathe for 15-30 min. & tried it w/Vinturi (took off the bite from alc. content/edginess), and served chilled. Recaled Granny Smith apple aromas & flavors.

Acidity seems to be lacking, because you don't feel it on the attack. Give it a second or two, and you feel it.

July 14, 2009 - Medium-dark gold. A little spicy with gentle, lightly honeyed sweetness. Smoky. A little bitter in the finish. Probably perfect now and although I found it good the first time I tried it about a year ago, it's showing much better now. Very good.

June 6, 2009 - Medium yellow color. Ripe nose with peaches, yellow plums and herbs. On the palate it appears rich and almost chubby, while lacking the acidity to balance the borderline overpowering fruit, peaches and plums. Slightly hot on the finish.

March 10, 2009 - Martine's Wines Portfolio tasting (MK, Chicago IL): nose: nice balanced nose of pears, peaches, and bits of green apples. decent depth with a bit of ripeness to the tones

taste: good medium feel with lowish acidity. Good balanced tones of pears, peaches, green apples and bits of citrus'

overall: a nice wine that is fully ready to go. Not a whole lot of depth or acidity, but still retains a burgundian sense with some ripeness to it
