March 8, 2020 - No idea if this wine just doesn't like being Coravined but it was a bit flat. Closed on the nose, some dark berry fruits, bit of structure. Certainly little simple pleasure.

September 15, 2018 - Mid ruby. Slightly disappointing. Earthy, dark fruits, beetroot and dark mushrooms. Some warm spices. Slightly scratchy tannins. Doesn't have the pleasure factor. But decently made wine.

October 29, 2017 - Still dark ruby, some fading to edge. Plenty of cherry and some blackberry. Warm spices like cinnamon. Bit of forest floor, earthiness. Good acidity. Drinking well.

September 17, 2017 - Quite dark in colour but light in body. Quite a lovely mature Pinot nose, the palate tastes a little too light and doesn't live up to the aromatics, plenty of acidity but I'd like a touch more depth of flavour

February 9, 2016 - Dark, dense red color. Fine grained sediments. Unclear, watery edge. Slightly orange egde. Smells very good and partially developed with a minty, eucalyptus kind of fruit. Very nice and gentle. Taste has lots of cherries, and has a powerful and slightly drying ending. For a village this wine has a good concentration which fits the appellation. Considering the vintage as well, this wine is stunning. Very nicely balanced as well.

February 23, 2013 - After 3 hours of air, this shows perfectly. A gentle, cold and rich nose hints of it's age and a surprising complexity. Arnaud wears his fathers gloves with ease, in this instance making a wine really worth remembering. It has aged ripe fruit with a gentle, almost minty coolness to it, as I remember from drinking 6-8 years old village Mortet earlier. One should never drink these wines younger, as they gain qualities well worth waiting for, if you ask me...

January 8, 2013 - Wonderful Marsannay. On the top of its peak now, I believe. One of the better 2007 Burgundies I've had from 2007 - and this is a Marsannay! Had it with Coq au vin, worked very well. Lots of red fruit, a few darker berries and spice. Smooth and with very high drinkability.

March 10, 2009 - Martine's Wines Portfolio tasting (MK, Chicago IL): nose: nice light and easy nose of strawberries, spice tones, and red cherries with a touch of red fruits. Good nose that is lacking a bit in depth but excellent for the appellation

taste: good medium+ acidity gives this a good spine with strawberries, bits of red fruits and red cherries. Nice light feel

overall: a nice and enjoyable marsannay. Laid back and cool with nice balance and refreshing flavors
