Vinturied into decant, consumed over several hours. This hasn’t aged well, my earlier btls were certainly better. The ripe fruit is disappearing into a overly oaked mismatch. Past prime and descending. Drink now thru now.

full bodied and dark crimson in color. shows with a nose of plum, cassis, and cedar. on the palate I get blackberry, heavy plum, blueberry, cassis, and a bit too much oak. a little too ripe and over the top with 14.6 abv. not exactly a fruit bomb, but classic cali cab nonetheless. I enjoyed earlier bottles better....go figure!

VERY solid wine. Typical, black fruit on the tip of the tongue—cassis, blackberry. Some dustiness. I would say that as a result of the years bottle age the tannins that have provided nice structure are very much resolved. So, not in your face. Very pleasant, lingering aftertaste.

Attractive bouquet exhibits black raspberries, cherries, and a hint of game atop earthy elements of conifer, mint, and garrigue. Savory, structured, and ferrous, this gets darker and broodier with air, but there's plenty of fruit to make it come across as lithe and tensile. Mountain fruit lingers on the finish.

Gran Cabernet: con un toque justo de dulzura. Fruta negra de entrada, grosella. Madera muy bien integrada: hojas de tabaco, toque de vainilla y especias. Muy bien logrado. Recomendable

Received this wine from one of those random Wall Street Journal-esque online wine clubs; pretty solid. Just the usual dark, elegant fruits like plum and blackberry with a lovely hint of licorice and leather.

This has really improved over the last 18 months. Fuller body and more intensity of dark fruit. Secondary flavors of a little leather and tobacco. Medium length finish. A very Napa cab.

Yum. Jammy and well-balanced. Easy to drink. Oak is pronounced. Blackberry and cedar. We drank it with veggie pizza and Buffalo wings and it was a good combination. Drinkable now, but will hold for a while.

Six nations tasting (Pyrmont): slight herbaceous notes, ripe black fruit…juicy, nice, perhaps a little tart but doesn't suffer from it, tough tannic grip.

Open for 2 hours, full decant for 1. A little untamed at the start but mellowed out as expected with a Porterhouse steak. Stiff tannins settled down to ripe berry flavors, mild mid-pallet and some anise on the finish. Overall a good medium priced cab and what St. Clement is all about.

Medium body with dark fruit, dusty cocoa and espresso powder. Mid palate is a little thin. Expected more from this. Moderate acidity on the short finish.

Nose is stewed fruits, but palate is fresh and quite acidic. Graphite dominates, fruit is in the background. Short finish. I believe this would benefit from more bottle age, certainly from longer decant (notes are from pop and pour).

Decanted for 45 min, great nose and jammy body, but it felt like it was truncated and was not completely opened up.

The good old days, where I paid $30 for this. Wine punched way over its weight for this price. Bumped up 2 points higher due to great QPR.
