A couple of bottles for the dessert courses. Not a touch on my recently noted 1990 but still excellent. Honey, apricots, jungle fruit and desert spices. Not at all heavy with decent acidity for balance (and cutting across richer puds!).
Fully ready, but being Chenin should make 20yrs from vintage without any problem. Ripe Chenin fruit with some botrytised apricot, honeyed and spicy accents, lovely purity and textural finesse and impressive length.
