Community Tasting Notes (average 89.7 pts. and median of 90 pts. in 3 notes) - hiding notes with no text

Tasted by wilypod on 9/3/2023 & rated 90 points: Linden's climate change (?) vintage 2023 (Linden, VA): Light pink, minimal skin and juice contact: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc, and Petit Verdot. Notes of white cranberry and pink lady apples. Fresh and inviting, lovely minerality and a hint of Burgundian sparkle (petillance, a faint effervescence). With eyes closed I might have guessed a white wine. (228 views)
Tasted by clchristian on 4/14/2023 & rated 90 points: Delicious. Has an amazing orange hue to it. Probably my favorite Rose that I’ve tried this year. (256 views)

Rosé Blend

"Rosé blend" can mean a blend of just about any varietals since the designation comes from the resulting color of the wine.

Rosé

Rosé - Wikipedia

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.
