Tasted by FransS on 5/8/2024 & rated 92 points: I can't get enough of the perfect bitters and the very elegant citrus. (183 views)
Tasted by FransS on 5/1/2024 & rated 92 points: See my previous note from August 2023; now with more development it are the very refined bitters that impressed me most. (352 views)
Tasted by TannicBeast on 2/27/2024 & rated 91 points: Italian Wine Scholar Class @ The Texas Wine School. 100% SB from 1000' - 2000' vineyards w/ porphyric and sandy soils. Med yellow. Med+ cat pee, passion fruit, white peach, verbena, fresh green herbs. Dry, w/ med+ to high acidity & med+ alcohol (13.5%). Crisp and juicy, but w/ a creamy mouthfeel thanks to 7-8 mos. of lees aging, 20% in barrels. Med+ body, w/ med+ to pronounced flavor intensity. w/ a citrus and wet stone, salty, long, mineral finish. NZ-like nose w/ Old World structure. A nice mix of cool and moderate climate. Drinking well already but showing even better a few days after being open. (662 views)
Tasted by WindFlyer on 12/2/2023 & rated 91 points: straw colour and medium body in the glass. gooseberry and stonefruit in the nose with floral and minty (not grassy) whiffs. crisp and creamy feel in the mouth and with good acidic lift as the flavours unfold: fruity with herbal and citric accents. with time and warmth a vein of pink grapefruit pith gains in notoriety. long, fresh, mineral finish.

a round rather than nervy style of SB but with plenty of acidity and minerality to be fresh and zingy. drinking well already and with good upside potential over a handful of years for those of us who like this style.

13.5% AbV; fermentation in stainless; ageing on lees for ~7-8 months in stainless (80%) and large barrels (20%) (806 views)
Tasted by PSPatrick on 10/28/2023 & rated 91 points: Citrus, lemon, gooseberry, grapefruit, peach, nectarine, and butter are joined by chalky, stony and flinty minerality, with good acidity and very good length. Medium-bodied, with good concentration, a lightly buttery texture, and good balance. A beautiful Sauvignon Blanc! (1066 views)
Tasted by Livonietisr on 10/12/2023 & rated 92 points: Greenish straw color. Intense aromas of peach, lichee, citrus, grass, mint. Wine is dry, medium+ acidity, balanced. Good intensity. (871 views)
Tasted by ethanwade on 9/16/2023: Gorgeous SB with white florals, peaches and nectarines, a little citrus and passion fruit, and elegant mineral notes. At 2.5 hours of air the florals and mineral notes have gained a lot of power, I’d guess this will really start to hit its stride in a year or two. Terlan says this will age for >5 years, I imagine it will do great for much longer. (842 views)
Tasted by Stanrocks on 8/18/2023 & rated 88 points: From Porphyre soils and with 20 % oak aging

Nose is already richer and bolder, verbena, mint, lemongrass, Sauvignon in between cool and warm climate, ripe and green at the same time, intriguing ... creamy lees feel as well !

Palate is dry, sharp acidity, with fat sourness in mid palate, finish a bit flat and too oily for SB maybe ... with still a salivating finish ! not in its best place right now ! needs some time so settle and put everything in place ! (676 views)
Tasted by FransS on 8/2/2023 & rated 91 points: Bormes-Le Lavandou Summer holidays 2023-Very refined CS, ripe, good freshness and citrus, grass, persistence into the balanced finish; fortunately no gooseberries. (737 views)
Tasted by hfc on 6/15/2023: Grass, green pepper, lemon. Again after trying another Italian sauvignon, I will stick to NZ for a more juicy and in-your-face SB. (639 views)
Tasted by amateur62 on 6/9/2023 & rated 91 points: Sauvignon Blanc aged 7 to 8 months in stainless steel tanks (80%) and in big barrels (20%). Residual sugar 1.3%, total acidity 6.3% and 13.5% vol.

Restaurant Franziskaner, Bozen. Starts with gooseberry but gets dominated by delicate floral notes with additional air, on the palate crisp, good depth and medium to long finish.

Very young, but already very approachable, nevertheless it will be even better with a couple of years in the cellar. Always a good choice. Blind, I would not point to Alto Adige but to Pessac Léognan, 91+. (550 views)
Tasted by Jochen Richter on 5/31/2023 & rated 92 points: Ein feiner, fruchtiger und doch frischer Sauvignon Blanc. Die Cantina Terlan ist immer einen Besuch wert. Zitrone und Stachelbeere natürlich, auch etwas Holunderblüte. Etwas Zeit zum Atmen tut ihr Übriges. (400 views)
Tasted by Rune Schwartz on 5/12/2023 & rated 92 points: Perfumed nose with grass, herbs and concentrated fruit. Really good palate with very good balanced fresh acid and medium body. Good intensity. Medium complexity and lenght. Good expression of Sauvignon Blanc. (604 views)
Tasted by Puteljen! on 4/22/2023 & rated 88 points: Very much Sauvignon, speaks more of the grape than its origin, but fresh and fairly well balanced. High acidity, a slightly salty minerality. Slightly tart fruit: lime, apple, gooseberry. Goes down easily. (678 views)
