a round rather than nervy style of SB but with plenty of acidity and minerality to be fresh and zingy. drinking well already and with good upside potential over a handful of years for those of us who like this style.

Nose is already richer and bolder, verbena, mint, lemongrass, Sauvignon in between cool and warm climate, ripe and green at the same time, intriguing ... creamy lees feel as well !
Palate is dry, sharp acidity, with fat sourness in mid palate, finish a bit flat and too oily for SB maybe ... with still a salivating finish ! not in its best place right now ! needs some time so settle and put everything in place ! Restaurant Franziskaner, Bozen. Starts with gooseberry but gets dominated by delicate floral notes with additional air, on the palate crisp, good depth and medium to long finish.
Very young, but already very approachable, nevertheless it will be even better with a couple of years in the cellar. Always a good choice.
