Tasted by dmaharaj on 11/5/2012 & rated 89 points: - Violet color. It's balanced with a full body. Polished texture with a long finish. (5556 views)
Tasted by MSheridan on 1/6/2011 & rated 88 points: my first venture into port... Nice (6038 views)
Tasted by spatialiser on 1/1/2011 & rated 88 points: Plummy, sharp, medium sweet, all present and correct but not too complex (5977 views)
Tasted by rjonwine@gmail.com on 3/27/2010 & rated 89 points: From 375 ml - dark garnet red color; dried fig, black fruit, dried orange nose; tasty, dried fig, walnut, berry, black fruit palate; long finish (1677 views)
Tasted by rcmcb on 3/13/2010 & rated 90 points: In agreement with the other notes. This was nice with a cigar--good but not quite outstanding. Very nice QPR. (6454 views)
Tasted by esb on 1/14/2010: Pretty ripe plum and background cherry liqueur. I like the fruit expression; it's clean, quality and interesting enough. Medium body with great balance - no heat, low/medium sweetness and elegance. Overall a good drinker. (6588 views)
Tasted by niwotcellar on 12/16/2009 & rated 90 points: Even better the next night... Blueberry and a decent finish. Good QPR. (2515 views)
Tasted by aagrawal on 10/9/2009 & rated 89 points: Dessert Wine Tasting (San Francisco, CA): My first late bottled vintage port. Tannins were noticeable but not overwhelming. Others in my group were turned off by the style, but that doesn't reflect on the wine itself. I thought this had a much more complex nose and palate than the Dow's Tawny at our tasting, and I liked but didn't love it. I think port may be an acquired taste. (2815 views)
Tasted by gilesm on 9/30/2009 & rated 90 points: As usual- excellent (2487 views)
Tasted by chateaumiller on 12/22/2008 & rated 80 points: GOOD...

But not great. It's got too much of an alchohol palate and has similiarities to Vodka. Some port flavors wth a little hazel nut but nor very viscous and a short finish. A simple sipper.

EtOH 19.5% (2769 views)
Tasted by EhrlichDY on 12/21/2008: Consistent with previous and other's notes. Great value here. (2730 views)
Tasted by EhrlichDY on 12/8/2008: Consistent with previous notes. Great mouth feel and fruit. Awesome value. (2743 views)
Tasted by EhrlichDY on 10/23/2008: My second bottle which I purchased at Costco showed a little less complexity than the first. Still enjoyable for the price. (2752 views)
Tasted by EhrlichDY on 9/28/2008: Consistent with others notes. Nice full mouth feel. Great blue fruit on the palate with a sweet finish. Gained weight and became more enjoyable on day 2. Great value for $15. (2753 views)
Tasted by ecnemergut on 7/30/2008 & rated 89 points: I continue to just get amazing Blueberry both on the nose and on the palate A great value. (2597 views)
Tasted by ecnemergut on 6/27/2008 & rated 90 points: Fantastic stuff. Wonderful blueberry nose. Full in the mouth with a nice sweet finish. A bit one dimensional, but hard to beat for less than $20! (2691 views)
Tasted by waibeans on 3/28/2008 & rated 89 points: very nice.. not much raisin taste to it. (2833 views)
Tasted by RobertJF on 12/1/2007 & rated 90 points: Big blueberry pie filling on the nose. Similar jammy blueberry midpalate with a little bit of earthiness. Equally fruity finish with a hint of spice. Very jammy LBV. good effort (2862 views)
Tasted by Zweder on 1/31/2004 & rated 87 points: Round, supple and pleasurable. Fairly full bodied, but lacks some complexity. (2673 views)
