Tasted by Tony1157 on 2/19/2022 & rated 95 points: last bottle, and what a stunner! I've been fortunate to drink 2 cases of this wine over the past 6 years, and it has been an absolute pleasure every time.

The wine is still young to me, and continuing to evolve beautifully. It's deep and rich, with beautifully integrated fruit and oak giving exceptional depth of flavour.
It's still relatively dry, and with a lovely long finish.

I feel it will go on much longer for those who have some left! (471 views)
Tasted by Tony1157 on 8/29/2020 & rated 93 points: Drunk alongside Rockford Sparkling Black Shiraz (2018 disgorge) and Seppelt Show Sparkling Shiraz 2004, and more than held its own.

Leaner and drier than the other 2, but full flavoured and long, and terrific drinking. At its peak I think, and years ahead of it. (600 views)
Tasted by Tony1157 on 5/10/2020: Drinking very well. Not overly sweet and all the better for it (670 views)
Tasted by VinCapitan on 12/12/2017 & rated 92 points: blackberry, savoury fruit, quality oak with a clean fresh finish, very good fruit, nice wine (1225 views)
Tasted by Croquet King on 1/7/2017 & rated 94 points: This wine is getting better with age.

Nose is slightly sweet and fruity.
Palate is dry, tobacco, cassis with a hint of spice. Very typical of a dry (non sparkling) clare valley red.

Drunk slightly chilled and got better as it was open for an hour. (1575 views)
Tasted by CamWheeler on 12/27/2014 & rated 89 points: End of year sparkling wine tasting: Salami, cherry, spice and rhubarb. Red fruit sweetness across the whole palate, with medium length. Nice but a little bit was enough. (2013 views)
Tasted by graemeg on 2/18/2011: 2011 Sydney Royal Wine Show - Exhibitor's Tasting (Olympic Park, Homebush): Silver medal {cork} Jubey, slightly jammy aromas, with a touch of tobacco. There’s a whiff of sweetness on the palate, not too much, and rather furious bubbles. Oak is subtle. Medium weight, this is entertaining rather than profound, and needs to be served at the correct temperature to show its best. Sound, but not terribly exciting. (2579 views)
