Tasted by JVG on 3/2/2016: Bright cranberry red in color. On the nose, it’s high-toned and fragrant, with bright red fruit aromas of raspberry and cherry, fresh roses, dried rose petals, a whiff of both sweet and peppery spices, and licorice. I love the profile of xinomavro—always strikes me as a mixture of nebbiolo and syrah, my two favorite red varieties. On the palate, all that youthful freshness is there with ripe juicy red fruit flavors and floral, almost rosewater flavors, but there’s also a surprising depth, with solid tannin and a well-built, well-balanced structure. A hint of stemminess, which doesn’t bother me one bit, and a bone dry finish that leaves behind savory tannin and a cigar-box woodsy/tobacco herbal character. This is just really delicious, high quality, expressive stuff, with great varietal and regional typicity, and excellent value. Can’t hope for more than that. (3076 views)
(3112 views)
Tasted by SiR on 12/24/2015 & rated 89 points: 13.5% - Clear, med ruby/ clean, med+ intensity - red cherry mixture, wild strawberry, cherry, rhubarb, blooming flowers / dry, med+ zippy acidity, med body, med- silky tannin, med+ length. A step up from the '14 we had the day before. Very pleasant bouquet and drinks so easily. I agree with other tasters as to the comparison with some cru beaujolais. (3059 views)
Tasted by lightning on 11/21/2015 & rated 90 points: Notes after 2nd night, kept open at 16 degrees.

Aromas of cherry, candied raspberries, dried herbs, hint of dust. Silky entry, medium-bodied and nice clean and elegant texture on the midpalate, dried herb, pepper and cherry-raspberry flavours, fine-boned tannins emerge at end. Rather classy, yet I feel that this is not revealing all of its cards.

Would be interesting to see where this emerges in 2020. I don't think this has the structure that merits 10+ years ageing, but is more likely to peak in 5 years or so. (3147 views)
(3122 views)
Tasted by JVG on 10/31/2015: Very friendly and generous expression of xinomavro, presumably due to the vine age. Bright, fresh, ripe cherry and raspberry fruit, floral notes, nice acidity, and moderate but fine tannins. Almost Grenache-like in some ways but still has the earthiness and structural elements of xinomavro. (946 views)
Tasted by Prequal on 10/19/2015: Berry/pepper nose. Medium body, dry tannins, shortish finish. Pepper. (1039 views)
Tasted by czar33 on 10/13/2015 & rated 87 points: Encore intéressant, léger mais du fruit, original. (979 views)
Tasted by kosmik on 10/6/2015 & rated 90 points: Toujours aussi bon...
Avec 1 point boni pour le RQP et la sincérité : 89 + 1 = 90 ! (976 views)
Tasted by Man in Black on 10/4/2015: Medium ruby colour. Medium+ intensity nose with notes of black olives, very ripe red plums, strawberry jam and dark cherries,

Dry in the mouth with a medium+ acidity. Slightly coarse tannins, warm alcohol and pronounced juicy concentration. Medium+ finish.

A bit simple and jammy but with some refreshing acidity and a persistent finish. (704 views)
89 (946 views)
Tasted by wormfarmer on 9/9/2015 & rated 90 points: 90/91 -- tempted to shade it toward the higher end of that for punching so far above its price class. First experience with this grape and region. Friend had compared it to nebbiolo ahead of time (it would be on the more feminine and Barbaresco side of the grape, if you were to force it that way), but I think I might have mistaken it for a mencia, if I'd had to guess. Chalky tannins. Bright, bright fruit -- raspberry candies, dried cherries -- and banging acidity. We had it with chicken thighs, but there's almost nothing you couldn't eat with this. Great with a chill. (1161 views)

 Tasted by kosmik on 7/3/2015 & rated 89 points: 13,5% d'alcool
100% Xinomavro
Conclusion : superbe RQP!

Tasted by Yiannis on 6/23/2015 & rated 91 points: This is as good as a wine of this style can be! Medium garnet with ruby hues. Expressive nose with amazing purity of fruit (strawberry and red cherry) and florality. Medium-bodied with umbelievably soft (for a young xin) tannins, bright fruit and balancing acidity. Medium to long aftertaste. Kudos to this talented winemaker for producing the ultimate summer/everyday red from such a difficult variety. Drinks ideally slightly chilled and will go with almost everything. Great value. (1410 views)
Tasted by Cote d'Or on 6/9/2015: Part of Greek wine tasting/dinner
-nearly opaque bright dark red/purple, similar to a young Beaujolais in a ripe vintage
-floral, gamay-like ripe grapey
-med acidity but soft mouthfeel with med weight, simple purple grapey fruits, med+ ripe tannins
-pleasant though lacking complexity (1013 views)
Tasted by rjonwine@gmail.com on 5/27/2015 & rated 92 points: Dark cherry red color; aromatic, fresh, tart berry, black raspberry nose; tasty, fresh, tart berry, black raspberry palate with medium acidity; medium-plus finish (13.5% alcohol) (531 views)
Tasted by czar33 on 5/11/2015 & rated 89 points: Wow!!!! (1004 views)
Tasted by Jon MacDougall on 5/6/2015 & rated 91 points: Great summer wine! Serve chilled at around 15celcius. Fruity & Light. Nice QPR (1163 views)
Tasted by bacchus of knockholt on 12/21/2014 & rated 89 points: Pale ruby. Nose of red cherry, cola, charcoal. The wine is light framed but the palate has intense ripe red cherry, strawberry but also has good acidity and nice dried savoury herb finish. Very good but certainly shouldn't be served too warm; cellar cool is perfect. (1030 views)
Tasted by Ricardohd on 11/13/2014 & rated 89 points: Served at cellar temperature (~15 degrees C) Rich nose - exotic spices. Quite light palate. Nice acidity, red fruits, gently grippy tannins. A little bit like a more tannic Fleurie. (1016 views)
Tasted by henrygjeffreys on 10/14/2014: spicy, floral nose
tannic but supple
quite light-bodied
leather on the finish
feels a bit closed
