Tasted by vintage_whine on 3/27/2021: pure, good weight and ripeness but still balanced, fresh and vegetal. not the greatest concentration, but thats not what it sets out to be. brilliant mid level cab franc (974 views)
Tasted by Ericsson on 8/27/2019 & rated 90 points: Au restaurant.
(1560 views)
Tasted by Comte de Rousset on 1/14/2018 & rated 90 points: Remarquable! (2791 views)
Tasted by JVG on 12/17/2017: Plum-skin color. Rather tight on the nose, but it does have a textbook cabernet franc green-pepper vegetal character. There’s also a bit of cedar and smoke. Very little in the way of fruit aromas. The palate, too, is centered on smoky, spicy, mineral flavors and a vegetal character. Nice texture though, with fine grained tannins and a nice bite. Medium bodied, and a bracing, stern finish. Would be good with rich food—fatty meats, stew, mushroom risotto, etc.

This is probably too young really to be drinking. Would recommend holding or at least giving it a good decant. (2306 views)
Tasted by maxima on 11/11/2017 & rated 87 points: Belle acidité et beau fruit mais un peu trop de poivrons en ce moment. (2754 views)
Tasted by AlphaMikeFoxtrot on 10/21/2017 & rated 89 points: Plums, strawberries, raspberries, cooked green bell peppers and black peppercorns. Served it with a bison ribeye and it worked nicely. (511 views)
Tasted by forceberry on 8/14/2017 & rated 90 points: Fermented and macerated in open-top vats for 3-4 weeks. Aged for 6 months in foudres. 13% alcohol.

Deep, luminous dark ruby color with a hint of blue hue. Sweet, attractive and fragrant nose wth aromas of perfumed violet notes, ripe blackcurrants, sweet warm vintage notes of blackberry marmalade and cherry jam, a little bit of cherry pit and a hint of pencil shavings. The wine is dry and medium-bodied on the palate with flavors of fresh blackcurrants, crunchy tart red berries, some iron, a little bit of sweet plum compote, very primary red fruit flavors and perhaps a slightly lactic yoghurt note of MLF. The wine is quite high in acidity, giving it lovely focus and brightness, but the tannins are quite mellow and easy, emphasizing the silky mouthfeel of the wine. The finish is lively, fresh and lively with bright acidity and quite dry flavors of dark fruits, some autumnal forest floor notes, a bit of sweeter, ripe red fruit and a touch of crunchy, fresh blackcurrant.

A very pretty and really youthful little Cabernet Franc. Not particularly big, brooding or that serious, but still very tasty and thoroughly drinkable. Shows no leafy, vegetal characteristics of Loire Cabernet Franc, but instead is all about fruit, showing both sweeter, more ripe red fruit typical of a warm vintage, and crunchier, more tart dark fruit more typical of Loire Cabernet. A bright and attractive early-drinking everyday red, not really a wine to be cellared - at least for particularly long. Recommended. (2432 views)
Tasted by henrygjeffreys on 4/27/2017: very perfumed nose, cherries and stalky floral notes
Quite firm tannin, furry tannin, grassy quality with leathery finish
Feel this needs a little time to open up but the fruit is there so think this should be good (2106 views)
Tasted by aekenback on 3/26/2017 & rated 89 points: Dark and quite ripe fruit. Smooth tannins. The warm vintage has definately left it's mark, but there is sufficient acidity, and some herbal/green notes, to maintain balance. Nice, approchable, wine that delivers good quality for the price tag. (959 views)
