(71 views) | | Tasted by TRguy on 1/3/2021 & rated 92 points: Delightful, mouthwatering fruit with a bracing acidity and mineral, peach, apricot, stone fruit on the palate, long finish, very dry. This would stack up well with some of the best from Provence. (81 views) | | Tasted by isaacjamesbaker on 7/1/2020 & rated 91 points: Medium strawberry color. Bouncy, boastful aromas of white peach, orange peel, with white and yellow flowers, white pepper, mint, sea salt – so inviting. Plump texture, delightful presence on the palate, with zippy acidity. Crisp but juicy fruit (yellow plums, white cherries, strawberries) with notes of mint, white pepper, sliced yellow bell pepper, white tea. There’s this rocky, mineral presence underneath. A phenomenal rosé at a crazy price. (275 views) |

Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.Virginia Virginia Wines (Virginia Wineries Association)Central VirginiaMonticello is the proper sub region in Virginia for King Family Vineyards, not Central Region.MonticelloArticle from Appelation America https://wine.appellationamerica.com/wine-region/Monticello.html) information on wineries and grape types https://wine.appellationamerica.com/wine/data/Monticello.html) |
