France, Loire Valley, Anjou-Saumur, Saumur-Champigny
Thanks to the oak and concentration this wine offers a pleasant bite. Cherries, blackberries and other berry fruits in the taste. Already pleasant, but certainly a future of 3+ years.
France, Languedoc Roussillon, Languedoc, Saint-Chinian
Full bodied. Ripe fruits; dark as well as red. Pleasant dose of oak and sweetness. Soft tannin and open. Long finish. Pleasant already, but it can age 3 - 5+ years as well. 85+
A lot of primary dark and red fruits. For the rest there is not much to discover. Definitely and ok wine. Will probably improve with a few years of ageing, but will never be great.
Interesting bouquet with oak and a lot of black fruits. On the palate a lot of dark cherries and dark berry fruits. A mouth full of wine with a lot of tannin and bitterness, both of good quality. Needs many years to mature; 5 - 10 years will not be a problem. 88 for now and that might be higher in the future.
France, Burgundy, Côte Chalonnaise, Mercurey 1er Cru
Medium to full bodied but not very outspoken. The wine is locked at the moment or just not really special and interesting. The 2006 is a completely different wine. For the moment 83.
France, Burgundy, Côte Chalonnaise, Mercurey 1er Cru
What a difference compared to 2005. This wine is expressive and has a lot of well dosed toasted oak. Enough citrus acidity and fruits to back it up. Lovely already, but the oak will integrate a bit more and then it might even be nicer.
Not many specific notes, but this is really a luxurious wine. Full bodied, toasted oak and soft tropical fruits that can handle the oak. Great wine! 92+
Concentrated wine with a firm dose of sweetness. Primary fruits. Sticky tannin. Locked at the moment and not showing much. Needs several (3+) years. 87+
Very full bodied and concentrated, but also elegant. Loaded with soft ripe fruits and firm but soft good tannin. This is something special. The price is as well. Can last many years. 93+
A wine I never saw before. Impressive! A lot of toasted oak and ripe red fruits as well as some cassis in the bouquet as well as the taste. Very concentrated. Good balance between sweetness and acidity. A great and complex modern made wine. 91+
Tasted from ½ bottle. Exclusive bouquet with good dark flavors of cassis, plums and coffee. Pleasant oak. Same in the taste. Medium to full bodied. Soft tannin. Elegant as well. Already very nice drinking.
Second chance and again I did not make many notes. In fact the same as last year. Good and elegant wine, but not as full bodied and classical as it used to be a long time ago. Still a very ok wine.
France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion Grand Cru
One impression overruled all the others: strawberry. Almost like concentrated strawberry lemonade. Silky soft and concentrated. I will not score the wine because it is a-typical and I had/took only one sip.
2009 Domaine de Lartigue Côtes de Gascogne 81 Points

Flowers and grass in the bouquet. Fresh citrus acidity and also a hint of sweetness. Ok wine.
