White

Red
2007 Domaine de Saint-Just Saumur-Champigny La Montee des Roches France, Loire Valley, Anjou-Saumur, Saumur-Champigny
85 points
Thanks to the oak and concentration this wine offers a pleasant bite. Cherries, blackberries and other berry fruits in the taste. Already pleasant, but certainly a future of 3+ years.
Red
1999 Domaine de Saint-Just Saumur-Champigny Le Clos Moleton France, Loire Valley, Anjou-Saumur, Saumur-Champigny
The wine lost all its fruit. It is still drinkable, but past its prime. No score.
White

Something special. A bit vegetal. Locked at the moment. Tastes like white Rhone wines.
Red

80 points
Primary red cherries. Tastes like Beaujolais/Macon wines. Fruity without complexity.
Red

Red

85 points
Full bodied. Ripe fruits; dark as well as red. Pleasant dose of oak and sweetness. Soft tannin and open. Long finish. Pleasant already, but it can age 3 - 5+ years as well. 85+
White
2008 Château Husson Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape
87 points
Firm wine with soft yellow fruits and a firm dose of oak. Imo the white C9 is the best this domain produced in 2008.
Red
2008 Château Husson Côtes du Rhône Villages Les Saumades France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages
77 points
Easy going, fruit forward Rhone wine. Average, like 13 in a dozen wine. Just an easy drinker.
Red
2008 Château Husson Châteauneuf-du-Pape Les Saumades France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Light bodied style. A lot of bitterness. Disappointing wine.

White
2008 Domaine des Gerbeaux Pouilly-Fuissé Cuvée Jacques Charvet France, Burgundy, Mâconnais, Pouilly-Fuissé

Most complex wine I tasted from this domain. A lot of minerals and good citrus.
White
2008 Clos Troteligotte CSbV France, Southwest France, Côtes du Lot
84 points
Fresh citrus. Grass. Some light tropical flavors. A nice glass of wine.
Red
2006 Clos Troteligotte Malbec La Perdrix France, Southwest France, Cahors
82 points
A lot of primary dark and red fruits. For the rest there is not much to discover. Definitely and ok wine. Will probably improve with a few years of ageing, but will never be great.
Red
2006 Clos Troteligotte Malbec CQfd France, Southwest France, Cahors
88 points
Interesting bouquet with oak and a lot of black fruits. On the palate a lot of dark cherries and dark berry fruits. A mouth full of wine with a lot of tannin and bitterness, both of good quality. Needs many years to mature; 5 - 10 years will not be a problem. 88 for now and that might be higher in the future.
White
2005 Domaine Theulot Juillot Mercurey 1er Cru Champs Martin Blanc France, Burgundy, Côte Chalonnaise, Mercurey 1er Cru
83 points
Medium to full bodied but not very outspoken. The wine is locked at the moment or just not really special and interesting. The 2006 is a completely different wine. For the moment 83.
White
2006 Domaine Theulot Juillot Mercurey 1er Cru Champs Martin Blanc France, Burgundy, Côte Chalonnaise, Mercurey 1er Cru
87 points
What a difference compared to 2005. This wine is expressive and has a lot of well dosed toasted oak. Enough citrus acidity and fruits to back it up. Lovely already, but the oak will integrate a bit more and then it might even be nicer.
Red
2008 Domaine Theulot Juillot Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise France, Burgundy, Côte Chalonnaise, Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise
79 points
Light bodied, a lot of sour cherries and unripe raspberries. Might go well with a tomato based dish, but without food this is not an interesting wine.
Red
2008 Domaine Theulot Juillot Mercurey Vieilles Vignes France, Burgundy, Côte Chalonnaise, Mercurey
81 points
Light bodied and the bitterness is dominant at the moment. This is all I wrote down except for a score.
Red
2006 Domaine Theulot Juillot Mercurey 1er Cru Champs Martin France, Burgundy, Côte Chalonnaise, Mercurey 1er Cru
85 points
Pleasant oak. Strawberries. Some pleasant sweetness. A nice wine with some complexity.
Red
2006 Domaine Theulot Juillot Mercurey 1er Cru Les Combins France, Burgundy, Côte Chalonnaise, Mercurey 1er Cru
86 points
Elegant. Well dosed oak. Red forest fruits. Already a very nice wine that can last a few more years.
White
2008 Domaine des Rémizières Crozes-Hermitage Blanc Cuvée Particulière France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, Crozes-Hermitage
86 points
Very special wine. Bananas and other tropical yellow fruit flavors.
White
2008 Domaine des Rémizières Hermitage Blanc Cuvée Émilie France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, Hermitage
92 points
Not many specific notes, but this is really a luxurious wine. Full bodied, toasted oak and soft tropical fruits that can handle the oak. Great wine! 92+
Red
2008 Domaine des Rémizières Crozes-Hermitage Cuvée Particulière France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, Crozes-Hermitage

Juicy, ripe black and some red fruits. Firm dose of good oak. Pleasant sweetness. Needs a few years. 86+
Red
2008 Domaine des Rémizières Crozes-Hermitage Cuvée Christophe France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, Crozes-Hermitage
87 points
Concentrated wine with a firm dose of sweetness. Primary fruits. Sticky tannin. Locked at the moment and not showing much. Needs several (3+) years. 87+
Red
2008 Domaine des Rémizières St. Joseph France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, St. Joseph
87 points
Spices and some medicine in the bouquet. Sweet ripe fruits and a firm dose of oak and bitterness. Give it 3+ years of rest.
Red
2007 Domaine des Rémizières Hermitage Autrement France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, Hermitage
93 points
Very full bodied and concentrated, but also elegant. Loaded with soft ripe fruits and firm but soft good tannin. This is something special. The price is as well. Can last many years. 93+

A wine I never saw before. Impressive! A lot of toasted oak and ripe red fruits as well as some cassis in the bouquet as well as the taste. Very concentrated. Good balance between sweetness and acidity. A great and complex modern made wine. 91+
Red
2006 Domaine de Chevalier France, Bordeaux, Graves, Pessac-Léognan

Tasted from ½ bottle. Exclusive bouquet with good dark flavors of cassis, plums and coffee. Pleasant oak. Same in the taste. Medium to full bodied. Soft tannin. Elegant as well. Already very nice drinking.
Red
2006 Château Gruaud Larose France, Bordeaux, Médoc, St. Julien
90 points
Second chance and again I did not make many notes. In fact the same as last year. Good and elegant wine, but not as full bodied and classical as it used to be a long time ago. Still a very ok wine.
Red
2006 Château Grand Barrail Lamarzelle Figeac France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion Grand Cru
One impression overruled all the others: strawberry. Almost like concentrated strawberry lemonade. Silky soft and concentrated. I will not score the wine because it is a-typical and I had/took only one sip.
Red
2006 Château Latour-Martillac France, Bordeaux, Graves, Pessac-Léognan
90 points
A lot of toasted oak in this classical Bordeaux. Good cassis, concentration and tannin. Will offer beautiful drinking for many years. 90+
