Golden color. The nose here is showing it's 40+ years with an oxidative, nutty, sherry character melded to mature, soft white fruit. The palate is still fresh and the bead has good energy, which held up over a couple of hours. Interesting to taste, but I like my bubbles much more young.
Young pale straw color. Youthfully fresh nose of biscuit and crisp apple. Over time some sweetness and baked bread, and oak toast emerges. This is really crisp, fresh and young. A couple hours of air over dinner really helps to smooth this out and add flesh/layering. An excellent, still-young, Krug.

Just a small taste shared by the good folks sitting next to us. I love this wine when it's on, and this bottle was on. Richly fruited, dense, with all kinds of ripe apple and peach fruit, matchstick and minerals. Terrific, and still showing very young.
This really blossomed over a couple of hours and needs more time. Initially the nose pretty linear -- seashell, mineral and crisp green apple. The palate is bracing with crushing acids with loads of energy, some white fruit but not much right now. With an hour or two, it picks up some sweetness, roundness and volume. Ends up showing more like other '14 Chablis bottles that I've had with good roundness and approachability, but it took a while.
Tasty with a tropical nose with coconut and spice, mineral and sugar steeped peaches. The palate has nice richness and round fruit, with good lift and freshness. Probably a bit young, but high on the delicious factor.
Lots of debate as to whether this was corked. I never got TCA, but it was certainly funky, old and weird. A whole bunch of dried fruit, discarded tea bags and an odd epoxy note.
This really blossomed after two hours in the glass. Initially florals, candied red cherry almost cough drop. After an hour the fruit turns more savory, earthy and almost smokey. Very red fruited throughout with juiciness and good freshness. First of a 6-pack, and I'll try to have one per year.
Wow, big, bacony, peppery, olivey black fruit nose. A mouthful of savory black fruit. Pepper and incense add complexity. So rich, yet lightweight with excellent length.

2007 Domaine Henri Boillot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Mouchère Flawed

Pre-moxed. And not badly, but also a no doubter given a 2009 of the same tasted side by side, which was totally correct.
