Nice tasting with some friend on theme whites.

    Golden yellow.
    Not very impressive at nose, with herbs, yellow kiwi and mineral hints.
    Clean, well balanced at taste, with a good body and a gooseberry note. High minerality and good acidity. Persistent.

    Pure gold.
    Intense nose, with plenty of wood, vanilla and safran, but also balsamic hints.
    Great structure at taste, with acidity and high minerality, but wood and alcohol impact is too strong. Closing on candy pineapple notes.

    This is a PIWI cuvée, Solaris blend.

    Fine nose, balsamic and citrine, with a mineral background.
    Refreshing, yet structured, sip, with a nice acidity and minerality; overall well balanced, with a good fruit. Persistent.

    Light straw yellow.
    Shy nose, with some sage and white fruits, pear.
    Very nice tasting, full mouth, well balanced, with a ripe fruit and a gypsum vein at closing.

    Intense nose, complex, with cooked apples, apricots and distinctive pastry notes.
    Acidity a bit fading at taste, but good minerality and structure. Some lactic notes.

Closing

My first time with PIWI wines. The Niedermayr cuvée was too intense for me, but the Aldeno was a pleasent discover. Undervalued Rebola variety confirm to be a high class white, with great aging potential.
