1978 Château Léoville Las Cases 92 Points
France, Bordeaux, Médoc, St. Julien
Garnet and brown with a classic French Bordeaux nose. Tannins are still balanced and balanced acidity in the finish although a little shortish.

1998 Château Pavie Decesse 94 Points

This is old with garnet color. The tannins are still powerful 8/10. Integrated and balanced. Better than I may have expected given what appears to be the age.
Appears younger than #1 tonight. (Correct per post unveiling)
French nose and body.
