Three decades of Screaming Eagle: Cool, sweet fruit, licorice, cinnamon and a good length. I enjoyed this a lot fresh out of the bottle, but with 30-45 minutes of air, this became a bit too sweet for my taste. Started out at 95points and landed somewhere near 92-93

Americana + James Bond Dinners and Ang and Adrian’s; 11/18/2022-11/19/2022 (Byron Bay): I was prepared to be disappointed, but was very much not. Insanely good wine. Far more elegant than expected, with soft tannins, a huge amount of complexity and a relative lack of overt oak flavors. Flavor was subdued coming out of the cellar at 14 degrees C, was at its best 5 degrees warmer than that and then lost a little of its complexity when it got warmer still.

Decanted for 4 hours and then drunk blind. Extremely heavy tannins which I have not seen noted in other reviews. T9 . The tannins are akin to Hundred Acre Kayli Morgan and I have not tasted other wines with this level of tannin. At the same time it was not harsh - just powerful.
Some cassis on the nose (light) and velvety dark on the palate.

Classic floral, dark fruit aromatics. Quite punchy on the palate, waves of fruit. Requires 2+ hours to open up.

Zachys. Really round, really seductive. Candy, gummy aromatics. Waves of fruit.
