Bright with citrus honeysuckle and oak notes, still young but a real hit and great quality. Probably not the most interesting of the whites but the best with the meal.
deep straw colour. An aged white which is still held together by lovely acidity. For me the weakest of the three whites. Lovely to have these older Meursaults, but this needs drinking.

complex and dark fruited, the tannic structure is still there making it great with the venison. Seems to open as meal progressed. Quite a statement. Just behind the Chambertin today. Robust but lovely.

A reserve wine generously opened. A lifted nose, long palette, so different to the Gouges, softer more giving, red fruited and still some oak. A very good wine which was I’d like to have more time with.

A good start, bright yeasty, long. Not the focus today and was also lovely when i came back to it.
