  France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Meursault 1er Cru

  Rich and buttery, but a bit angular. Sort of gets lost in Leflaive's more fat, Meursault-like general style. Enjoyable.

  Some flint and smoke. Clean, tense palate. Forward. Refined, but a bit hollow in the middle. Nice.

  More overt fruit. Tropical. Balanced and full throughout. Rich and opulent, with tangy acidity. Very nice.

  More muted nose, showing some sulfur. Full but really balanced. Lots of power. Super tense, with a fine grained, almost powdery finish. Really nice.

  Bright, pure, and opulent in a characteristic Leflaive style. Fat for Chevalier, but still very clean. Really refined, patrician wine - sort of Combettes++. Great tension. Really good.

  A fat feel, but somewhat angular and not super giving. Tense, somewhat coarse structure. Somewhat disconnected in its youth. Still, very nice.

  Some tropical fruit. Not quite as big or fat as expected, but very full; Pucelles+. Well structured which stops this a bit short. Really nice.

  More orange overtones, with a mature weightiness. Great minerallity to the finish. Some chalkiness on the finish. A bit disconnected, but really good.

  Pear and tropical fruits. Nice weight - fat palate. Better at this stage than '06 Chevalier. Somewhat back heavy. Very nice.

  Fat for young Salon, and not as aggressive as expected. Some yellow citrus fruits but plenty of weight and less minerallity than usual. Firm mousse. Very nice.
