(at the winery) '05, '06, '07 vertical. Deep dark cherries, chocolate and toasty oak with some addition of blue fruit (both on the nose and palate). Extremely rich and jammy. Very good but over the top for my taste 91+. I cannot believe that these cost $100/btl, perhaps they improve dramatically with age...
(at the winery) Liquid plums, rich chocolate and coffee. Quite Jammy. Very good finish. I don't know what's up with these wines, all 5 beringer high-end cabs tasted quite similar, liquid dark fruit and coffee punch. All good wines but none of them stands out.
All of the wines were good, but quite heavy and not extremely interesting. Furthermore all of them were just too similar to be interesting as individual wines.
