Very unique. The deepest most golden color I have seen in a non-dessert white. Restrained nose giving up a very flinty, musty profile with petroleum notes and a bit of reductive brandy. Apple as the prominent fruit. Bone dry. Lot's of quality here. Seems to have the makings to last in the cellar. So glad we tried one, wait 3 years before trying again.
Paired with the main course - Tenderloin with veal demi-glace, King mushrooms and fingerling potatoes. Decanted for 2 hours. I was deficient on note taking but it paired well and the wine is definitely in a pretty good place for drinking. For the price I expected more complexity but it was still very enjoyable. Solid fruit, freshness has retreated as has the tannin and oak to yield a calm adolescence with a number of years still left. 90

Great nose but way too hot. Can't even attempt to rate this. As an experiment grab a couple and wait 5 years and check back in.

Decent. Lot's of dirt and oak. Obviously young but tannins are in check. Nice now, will improve. Good value at $20.
