Tobacco, saddle leather, cassis and blackberry aromas. Dense and concentrated palate with ripe blueberry and currant fruit with cocoa and espresso depth- tightly wound. Nicely weighted and silky. Fine and firm tannin. Full long finish. It's all there, but needs plenty of time.

Sage, cigar box, currant aromas. Refined on the palate with some hints of elegance. Coffee and espresso over more subtle fruit. Round smooth tannins and a medium to full finish.

Begins with blueberry, bitter chocolate and cassis. The palate shows dried blue fruit, cracked pepper and sage. Rustic and brawny in feel with firm tannin and full finishing notes. Very nice.

Notes of black tea, leaf tobacco, espresso, herb and cassis. Pure silk through the palate with blueberry and black cherry along with sweet oaky depth and notes of tea. Round silky tannin and a polished full finish. Accessible now.

2008 Lang & Reed Cabernet Franc Two-Fourteen 92 Points

Notes on the nose of rose hips, olive, black pepper, black cherry & currant. Rich elegant palate with flavors of silky tea, cedar and tobacco to along with the cherry and currant fruit. Well balanced. Grippy through the palate, finishing full with notes of baking spice. Really enjoyed this one.

Aromas of apple-caramel and spice. Toasty fruit, fairly well balanced butterscotch and vanilla notes on the palate. Silky and full, lingering finish.

Simplistic aromas- vanilla and citrus. Rich leesy palate with more vanilla. Spice on the finish. Oak dominates this one- can hardly distinguish it as a Sauv Blanc.
