Tasted blind. Fat fruit aromas, not classically Chablis, more characteristic of the vintage. Very good fruit, but more lush than the precision and finesse I like in Chablis.
Started with a bit tropical and lush fruit aromas for Chablis. Palate was also fairly rich and fat, but there was good acidity and minerality coming through from middle to finish that provided energy and textures. Somewhat New world with some more new oak than typical, but overall a very enjoyable glass of Chardonnay.

Tasted blind as a ringer in a Chablis 1er flight. Easy to identify as not Chablis, not Burgundy, most clearly California. Another very good glass of wine, highlighting butterscotch, sweet/candied fruit and new oak. Overall quite well balanced, holding its alcohol well.
Tasted single blind. Ripe apple aromas with some hints of citrus. Palate was lemon, lemon peel and apple again, with good minerality and acidity. tasted blind, I was pleased to see a 2005 showing this classically well and energetic.
Tasted blind. Similar to its 2005 counterpart in the first flight, this was a bit less powerful, a bit more lean and precise. I think this wine needs more time to develop, while the 2005 is more ready today.
Tasted blind. One of the most prototypically "Chablis" wines tonight, with some green apple, lemon and lemon peel aromas, then similar fruit flavors along with oyster shell, minerality and acidity. Fairly long and elegant. Definite ability to improve going forward, with at least a decade of good drinking from here.
Tasted blind. Seems a bit subdued and inaccessible to start, this opened up over the course of the evening with the final sip being the best. Give more time in the cellar or decant for now. I am probably underestimating this wine based on its need for more air.

Tasted blind. This was a ringer in a Chablis flight, but alas was slightly corked.
