faboulous nose. again very burgundian. thought it was a Leroy Musigny. finish was a somewhat sharp and acidic, perhaps a little overbreathed?
a little funky and disoriented to start. better after a while but still hard to place. subtle flavours with decent intensity.
clean and pure with attractive aroma of sweet berries and flowers. a little lightweight by DRC standards.
huge explosion of mint, caramel and candy syrup. much too rich and overwhelming for my taste.
intoxicating nose of smoke, cigar box and black fruits. finish was just a little short to merit a higher score. again this might have been opened too early (double decanted 5 hours before)
not showing much here. only hints of underlying flavours. gone to sleep?

black fruits and spice. tight but lacks mid palate intensity.
complex mix of spice and floral notes. tight on the palate but there's good tension.
