Nose: Green gooseberries with a little liquorice and soap. Palate: Gooseberries and green plums. Pure and "clean" flavors with some minerals. Lovely wine!
Loads of coffee on the nose but also brown apples and a little banana. Some burnt sugar and rie bread also. The palate has a lot of boiled brown apples but also a lot of coffee. The bubbles seems to be a little tired and the wine seem a little flat. Slightly fresh flavors but also a little oxidized. Potentially a bad (cooked) bottle?
Nose: Plenty of rye bread, coffee and rotten red apples. Palate: Brown apples but still a nice freshness. Also plenty of rye bread and coffee. Very nice wine that still seems young. Very intense style that I just adored.
Nose: Packed with pine/resin with a hint of coffee and black currants. Palate: Again a lot of pine but also black currant fruit/leaves. Harsh tannic aftertaste but very intense in the flavors of the mid-palate. Excellent wine!

Nose: A little sewer and asphalt. Slightly burnt notes. Palate: Powerful dark plum fruit with a good intensity a just a hint of burnt asphalt and coffee. A delicious plum flavor and also a little green bell pepper. Great wine!
Italy, Tuscany, Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino
Lovely elegant and mineral driven nose with some sewer and also cherry/red currant fruit. Sweet cherry-like fruit on the palate and a beautiful elegance but still somewhat full bodied. Intense and still has plenty of fruit.
Nose: Dark plum but a bit to much alcohol showing. Palate: Super intensity, dark sweet plums with a solid and impressive acidity. A very pronounced minerality is very intriguing. Great wine.
Nose: Very sweet concentrated dark plum fruit mixed with cigar box and vanilla. Palate: Also quite sweet concentrated dark plum fruit but not as explosive as other young Alban wines. Does seem to have a lot of alcohol and but acidity is also very powerful and kind of balances out everything.. Impressive wine but not for everyone :-)

Nose: buttermilk, yogurt, freshly ground coffee, fresh dark plums. Some black pepper. Palate: Sweet dark plums with a nice freshness. Nice "cool" and restrained fruit flavors.

Okay wine but it didn't really impress me. Solid acidity but it wasn't as good as had expected.
