Kind of an "aha!" moment for me when I first tasted this circa 2012, it being my first really good "brunello". It still packs a punch with great rich yet elegant red fruits and plenty of secondary notes. But also clearly starting to peter out, so time to drink em!

Basically Brunello quality and still showing great at 15 years. Solid through the mid-palate with rich red fruit and tobacco elements with a medium long finish. Certainly a drink now/soon, but still quite enjoyable over a couple of hours and not getting tired yet.

Amazing. Cherry, dried red currant, raspberry, some earthiness and a tart creamy texture with a racy long finish. The best Rosso I've ever tasted. My last of 3 bottles purchased at the winery in 2011, tasting with Piero Palmucci. Went back years later after his death and sale of the winery but unfortunately, wines weren't nearly as impressive.
