Tasted Blind. Floral Nose led by Lavendar and some cherry. Nice Rasberry and cherry fruit on the palate. Finesse -- lighter-medium bodied... lingering finish. Lucky Guess of OR proved correct. Showed well tonight 90.

Tasted Blind. Powerful fruit on the nose, Dark Cherries and Pomagrantes. Beautiful fruit on the palate, but seems tight (young?) Obvious that there is a wonderful wine lurking, but not quite ready to strut its stuff. Nice Cherry lingering on the finish. 90+
Groups Wine of the Flight. And when revisited later in the evening continued to improve. Group's Wine of the Flight and Chris nailed this as "Excellent" and a "Radio Coteau." I guess (Winemaker) Sussman has added another to his legion of believers... Great, I'll have to open one for him every time he comes over <g>

Tasted Blind. On the nose Horsey, Gamey and some forest floor. Wow, where is the fruit? A little thin and provides a flat finish. Call it Rustic, but not special. ' I'll call you, don't call me.'

Tasted Blind. Very light in color. Mousey, Dirty Socks and some Forest floor. Not pleasant on the nose. Again a decided lack of fruit -- and brings flavors that were on the nose... not that I've tasted Dirty Socks (that I recall.) Some Dried herbs and acidity that keeps a little interest... barely.

Tasted Blind. Forest Floor -- Distinct ripe cherry nose. A bit smokey. Blackberries (!) and cherry cola (CA!) work their way into a crescedo, booming finish that lingers.. 91

Tasted Blind. Dark. Rasberries, mushrooms and roasted nuts (?) on the nose. Interesting nose. Round and ripe pinot, with a long lingering finish. 90-91. Very impressed after reveal - Sineann seems underrated. Group's Wine of the Flight

Tasted Blind. Super Sweet candied nose. Sweet tarts. Light and sugarey. Really sweet on the palate ... a wine for those that dont like wine? I like wine... this isnt for me, but see that it could be for some...generous 80 on potential audience. Upon reveal and hearing that it is $8, ... I would never buy it, and dont care to drink it again (it has a overly sweet/artifical quality that I always find objectionable)... but could certainly see some enjoying it

Tasted Blind. Nose offers red fruits and Forest floor. Very interesting palate offering juicy and dark red fruits, but not overly sweet (or just compared to the last wine?) Nice earthy elements and a powerful finish. Like this. 89 After reveal -- I was surprised how much this was similair to a PN. Groups Wine of the Flight

Tasted Blind. Paint thinner, Nail polish remover (VA?) and blue cheese on the nose. This doesnt seem right. A little porty on the palate with more of the same... blue cheese. Fair amount of wood. Good structure and hints of a good wine... but something aint right here. NR

2002 Antica Terra Pinot Noir 90 Points
USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley
Tasted Blind.
Dark color. Violets and floral aromas. Cranberries and Cherries. On the Palate Oak early and Oak often. The only thing keeping this down. Dark Dusty fruit, nice and intense grip throught and some nice tannins waving through. If oak resolves/integrates -- this is going higher 90+
Upon reveal I was surprised with this. Dont remember the Oak being so prominent and the nose seemed more floral. Revisited later and Oak did seem more resolved... tacked on a point or 2 (91-92). This is good and unique. Group's Wine of the Flight

2003 Domaine Arlaud Bourgogne Roncevie 81 Points
France, Burgundy, Bourgogne
Tasted Blind. Nose was a little restrained, but once i got where it wanted to take me, it was not something I wanted to cozy up to... Dirty Feet and some Pinot Funk. Palate has some light cherry fruit, but really dominated by acidity that turned bitter at the end... and lingered. 81. Guessed French and was correct.
