La Trompette, Chiswick, London Tasted Monday, March 18, 2013 by Rupert with 358 views
Sweat on the nose, few bubbles, petillant on the palate, sumptuous, good mineral depth. Massive and yet harmonious and intriguing.

Smooth, rich, very sedate, but not tired. Although lacking zing, this was fine and harmonious.
Meaty, floral, warm from the oak, but lifted, fresh and very beautiful.
Fresh, edgy, then a brown sugar sweetness, boney, lean next to the Tart, but rather lovely
Broad, sweet, smoky, red fruited, sappy, deep, but these words don't tell the half of it. Beautiful, grand, very special.
The ultimate tangy baked apple sweetie. Breathtaking.
