  • 2009 Lucien Crochet Sancerre Rouge La Croix du Roy 88 Points

France, Loire Valley, Upper Loire, Sancerre Rouge

In spite of the warm vintage a very fresh and minerally style, marked by minerality and terroir rather than fruit-driven, floral, good length. 88

  • 2010 Domaine Vacheron Sancerre Rouge 89 Points

France, Loire Valley, Upper Loire, Sancerre Rouge

Nice depth of ripe red and black fruits, white flowers, fresh and lively but with relatively soft tannins, an elegant, silky and attractive wine, quite stylish actually, good length.

  • 2011 Hubert Lignier Bourgogne 89 Points

    France, Burgundy, Bourgogne

Bursting with energy, ripe fruit, flowers, freshness and minerality but not without a hint of austerity; medium weight, lovely balance, nice Cote de Nuits tannic grip, good length. Really a fine example of a Bourgogne tout court, still a bit tight but should be absolutely lovely in 12-24 months' time.
