Lemon, stone fruit and minerals. Viscous. A considerable step up in viscosity and texture from Bourgogne offering. Lush, full bodied. Good finish.

Terrific stuff. Darker color, hint of cola and spice. Deep dark core of fruit with good concentration. The acidity is there. All components in place for this to develop very well.

Great stuff. Well balanced. Dark berry core, peppery and raspberries. The acidity is really balanced. Bought some of this.

Good, but I preferred the 2010. Cherries, red and black. Even got some fennel and earthy nuttiness. Nice core here. Solid offering but I enjoyed the overall profile of the 2010 more.

From Magnum. Crushed cherries, ripe and sweet. Red fruits, floral. A bit different profile from the 2010 and 2011, as I saw it. Dominated by the red fruit, and a bit sweeter. Still young and fresh.

2011 Simon Bize Bourgogne Blanc Les Perrières

Spice, brown sugar, lemon zest, orchard fruits all balanced by terrific acidity. Solid finish. Great basic Bourgogne level wine. More complexity compared to Champlains.
