Not a bad lineup.
It took 3 days to get the saliva back in my mouth after that many young Nebbiolos.
My winners were the Fulignis, Conterno Fantino Mosconi and Sori Ginestra, Einaudi Nei Cannubi, and the Bongiovanni Pernanno.
2011 Jankara Vermentino di Gallura
Italy, Sardinia, Vermentino di Gallura DOCG
Oily, melon, lemon rind, waxy palate, slightly salty but very rich and fat; though good I like a bit more cut in Vermentino.

2010 Boscarelli Vino Nobile di Montepulciano
Italy, Tuscany, Montepulciano, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano
Darker in color than the Brunellos; more rustic, grainy, cedar, youthful, darker cherry; very solid and should age well.

2008 Fuligni Brunello di Montalcino
Italy, Tuscany, Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino
Pent up and classic Brunello, lots of licorice and soft red fruit, cherry and strawberry, strong mid palate, so beautiful on the palate; could use 2 more years in bottle or a long decant before being ready.

2007 Fuligni Brunello di Montalcino Riserva
Italy, Tuscany, Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino
Extremely elegant and silky, very red cherry, intense strawberry, and orange oil in the background, great sappy midpalate, very classy though I don't see this being that much more profound than the normale.

2008 Conti Costanti Brunello di Montalcino
Italy, Tuscany, Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino
More compact and closed down in need of some bottle age, did get some attractive cherry liqueur, much more brawny than the '07 version.

2007 Conti Costanti Brunello di Montalcino Riserva
Italy, Tuscany, Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino
Rich, ripe, meaty, dark cherry, orange oil, fat and soft; needs more time to shed the baby fat, a little awkward in this current phase.

2009 Terrabianca Campaccio Toscana IGT
Italy, Tuscany, Toscana IGT
Lots of pure and sweet cherry, some vanilla but it's not obtrusive, some sour orange; very good; give this some air before enjoying.

2012 Cascina Bongiovanni Langhe Arneis
Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Langhe DOC
Quince, bitter, apple, pear, clean mineral finish; very true to Arneis; I may like this a bit more than Cerretto's.

2009 Conterno Fantino Barolo Sorì Ginestra
Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo
Nutty oak, sandy, sour cherry, high toned, broad shouldered, great balance; this wine is usually too masculine for my taste but this vintage had a great drinkability that I liked a lot.

2010 Poderi Luigi Einaudi Dogliani Superiore Vigna Tecc
