Introduction

After long coordination process, back & forth emails, we finally gathered with our spouses at the Shahaf's in Lehavim. Most of us arrived by train from TLV.
We had no idea about the wines, but we knew and were told that there will be enough wine "as much as we could consume"

  • 2005 Château Haut Condissas Prestige 87 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Médoc

    P&P
    colour: dark red-black

palate: the wine didn't breeze yet, is tight and lack complexity at present, very tannic, highly bitter, medium balanced - especially when the bottle was opened just prior to consumption, wile it should have been opened 2-4 hours in advance.

Flight 3 (1 Note)

Closing

Ety prepared EVERYTHING on the table. Even cooked the 3 bread types.
Green pea soup, special starter, tasty main dishes, designed desserts - every dish was well prepared and of top quality.
This was a very very high class meal that one could really appreciate by reading the elaborated thank-you letters the following days…
Re the wines - no doubt that this time the 2001 Vall Llach magnum was the king of the night: it was superb!
