Licorice, meaty, pepper and red currant aromas. Bright mouthfeel, the texture is good though it could use some more structure. Nice wine for the medium term.
Spice, licorice, cherry and blackcurrant. The tannins are there and the structure is good but they don't take centre stage, with the savoury (and sweet tinged) fruit lovely to drink.
Earthy, with florals and spices as well as a light herb note. Nice fruit on the palate, though the tannins and acidity are the primary focus. They provide good structure and work well together, finishing nicely long. Will continue to improve with medium term ageing.
Smoky meat, cherry and black currant aromas. Nice clean fruit, with just the right medium weight to it in order to compliment the fine tannins. Drinking nicely now.
Blueberry, smoky charred characters and spices. Palate is very well balanced with length that was extended further than I expected. Drinking well but will improve over the short term.
Smoky, cherry, violets and light earth. Palate is bold in both the fruit and tannin aspect. No real complexity yet but it has the structure that I'd be happy to wait for it to develop.

Bright nose - violet, briar, spice and graphite. Medium length with good balance. A nice wine but probably not worth the asking price.

Cherry, clove and berries - not especially expressive. Rounded mouthfeel and it lacks depth for me. Okay only.
