Tasting, brief note. I think this is the 4th time I have had this wine this year, absolutely sensational all 4 times. Sweet black fruit aromas with great spice. Powerful black cherry and blackberry flavors with big spice spice, dark chocolate and vanilla notes. Long, powerful and robust. Tasted alongside the other 4 domaine CSJ producers' 1999s, this was the best.

Tasting, brief note. Not nearly as good as I remember from when last tasted, this came across as a little thin and austere. Perhaps slightly corked? 87 or 88 points. Tasted alongside the 4 other domaine CSJ producers' 1999s.

Tasting, brief note. Red and black cherry aromas, very fresh. Similar fruit profile on palate, good acidity and minerality. Moderate length. Tasted alongside the other 4 domaine CSJ producers' 1999s, this was my second favorite of the quintet.
