Primera Saca de 2013. Pale gold; displays a hint of mature nuttiness next to aromas of sea breeze, white flowers and green olive, lovely depth; bone-dry but not acidic, fresh like a mountain stream, nice hint of olive bitters, good flavours; good length.
Small and perfectionist estate consisting of 2 ha of vines on ancient Roman terraces on the steep banks of the Rio Sil in Ribeiras do Sil. Old vines (>85 years old), slate soils, low yields (app. 30 hl/ha), 800 bottles produced. Fresh and elegant, rounded off by a hint of oak, lovely stuffing of young and ripe fruit, white peach and fresh apple, greengage, clean and precise, lovely Godello typicity, mineral, hint of almond, good intensity and length. A very well made wine.

Young vines (18 years old), granite soils, low yields (app. 35 hl/ha). Very pale colour, strawberry with a purple tinge; immediately attractive nose of strawberry sorbet, notes of spices, minerals, perfume and sous-bois, the spitting image of a Frühburgunder; the palate is youthful and juicy, fresh and playful, high-toned, linear, floral, red berry fruit, soft but with just the right amount of tannic grip, elegant but intense; very good length. Delightful.
