This started of musty and odd on the nose with spice, marzipan, flowers, a bit of fruit - cherry & strawberry. The palate shows significant VA: cherry, berry, spice, exotic. Juicy and showing citrusy acid and marzipan. Finish shows lots of VA with cherry, spice and citrus. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 4.5/6, Finish - 4/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 14.5/20.

Now we're back on track. Good fruit on the nose - sweet strawberry, cherry, spices, marzipan - very crisp and almost candied. Excellent on the palate - spicy, ripe, tart cherry, good acid but not volatile. Nice chewy and sharp tannins. Finish shows minerals and cherry. Matt N says this is the most complete wine so far and I agree. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 5/6, Finish - 5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 16/20.
This is pretty clearly the best wine of the night. More primary on the nose, with great strawberry and cherry, marzipan. This is candied, bright and exotic - it is a depth of flavor on the nose that the previous 3 didn't. The palate is similar - excellent and sweet with dark fruits, some funk, mushroom, spice, horse. This is exciting, exotic and mostly balanced. There is a touch of heat on the finish along with cherry, mineral and spice. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 5.5/6, Finish - 5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1-1.5/2 = 16.5-17/20.
