The nose is clean with med+ intensity, more fruit than the Chateau Lagrange 2006 that was tasted alongside, currant and black berry, dense character, tobacco leaves, bell pepper, minty, with time the wine opens and we get a rather sweeter expression, youthful to developing. The wine is dry, med body, med+ intensity, med alcohol, med/med+ acidity, tannins are med/med+ , the acidity is cutting through the red cherry and currant, feels rather linear without much depth, finish rather short. The palate gives less than the nose. Very good quality, drinking now but can hold
