France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion Grand Cru
Lovely perfumed and oily nose with a hint of roses. Very charming, elegant and fresh and it has just aged perfectly. Truly a hidden gem that I would love to try again.

Lovely "green" nose with a hint of iron but also a lot of elegance. Very old-school type of Bordeaux but lovely nonetheless. Still has a little depth left and also a slight sweetness to it. Without a doubt a special wine :-)
From the L06 disgorgement and I have had it for about 3 years. Vitamins and red apples on the nose. The red apples carries though to the palate which is just packed with flavor. Plenty of buttter, bread, vanilla. The sweetness is present but also a lovely acidity. Loved it.
A hugely intense wine and certainly a full throttle Napa Cab. Plenty of dense blackberry flavor, lead, coffee and chocolate but also an almost wild acidity and heavy tannin structure with a touch of bitterness in the aftertaste. The fruit is somewhat jammy but I don't necessarily see that as a problem in such a young wine. Overall, it does seem to have a crazy form of balance, even at this young stage. I simply adored it and would just wish I had more!! 97-98p
Deep and complex nose with blueberry, earth and mushrooms with a lot of intensity to it. The same notes carries through to the palate which is even more intense and even more complex. The palate also has some wet wool, aged meat, forest floor and camphor in it and the acidity nicely carries through and keeps everything fresh. It did however also have a overpowering tannin structure which kept it from reaching even higher levels. The overall impression is that this is still a very young wine and it will keep for a very long time!
