Fresh and bright on the nose. Subtle but perfumey. Aromas of strawberry, smoke, spice, red flowers. Bright on the palate - red berry fruit, great snap. Berry and earth finish. This is delicious, it manages to have a great deal of sweet fruit, but still comes off very serious. Nose - 5-5.5/6, Palate - 5/6, Finish - 5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1.5/2 = 16.5-17/20.
Can't stop drinking these. Cool nose with minerals, lime, stone, cool melon. Enters soft on the palate with sweet melon and lime, acid builds a little, good minerality. Lots of fruit so it feels sweeter than it is, but not too sweet. Melon, lime and stone on the finish. Not quite as on as other bottles, but still excellent. Nose - 4.5-5/6, Palate - 5/6, Finish - 5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1-1.5/2 = 15.5-16.5/20.
Ripe on the nose with apple, pear, creamy, some spice. Very smooth on the palate with good mature fruit: apple/pear, lots of stones, and peach pit. Very nice and sleek finish with fruit, stones and spice. This has excellent balance and seems to have aged well into a tasty Riesling with good complexity. I am mostly impressed with Wiemer's wines. Nose - 4.5-5/6, Palate - 5/6, Finish - 5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1.5/2 = 16-16.5/20.

From Magnum (thanks Sam). Smells green: honeydew melon, grass. Way tight on the palate - acidic, austere, almost sherry-like: dry, nuts. Finish is sherry, sea, and minerals. Never would have guessed this was from 1998. Nose - 4.5/6, Palate - 4.5/6, Finish - 4.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 14.5/20.

young and bright on the nose with earth and some pine, a little meaty and a bit of varnish. Young on the palate as well with some red-blue fruits, earth, a touch of meat. Pretty good.
Purchased by my dad on release. Showing really well tonight. Exotic and perfumed - meaty, plummy, some tomato, spices, a little bit of sweetness left over from the oak, which is well integrated now. Some cedar or tobacco. Palate shows plummy fruit, spice, tomato, sweet cedar. A touch of VA but 'in a good way'. A little BDX-like but much more interesting. Lots of sweet fruit and spice on finish. This is mature, supple, not huge. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 5.5/6, Finish - 5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1.5/2 = 17/20.
