Lychee and dandelion, ginger and more spice. Quite sweet still on the palate, there is a little grip and phenolic bitterness that brings the sweetness back. Could do with a little more acid and a little more length but I still liked it.
Earth, spice, musk, apple and herbs - pretty interesting nose. The palate has decent texture and while it isn't super long there is a mouth filling saline character through the middle that I like.
Stalk, spice and funk with some raspberry as well. The acidity is high and drives the wine but on the back palate it feels a little raspy, with the fruit not really holding up to a little bitter herbalness.
New Zealand, North Island, Wairarapa, Martinborough
Rhubarb, cherry and some musk with darker florals in the background. Has a herb and stalk streak that gives it some interest. Sweetness to the fruit but it isn't overripe. Good length and balance. Ticking along very nicely.
Stalk, smoke and plums. A real sweet and sour character on the palate, with some serious under ripe stalks intruding. There is a touch of alcohol where there was probably fruit when it was younger. Really not to my taste.
Raspberry, blueberry, ash, licorice and some DMS but in this case it adds complexity. Good palate presence, very good length, has excellent power and lift. Super good stuff.
Spice, earth, rhubarb, graphite and a green tinge to the edges of the fruit, some pencil shavings too. I like the style of the palate, it is well structured and there is plenty of fruit depth and texture to it. Really likeable.
Autumn leaves, some herb, ash, pencil and licorice. Fine tannin structure, still holding firmly. Good acid gives the fruit lift. I like the restraint to the wine, leaving a really good impression.
Earth, blackcurrant, undergrowth and moss, there is a dark sheen over the fruit. Great texture and balance, this is evolving ever so slowly. In a bit of an in-between phase but I think the quality is evident.
Apricot, meaty, thyme, lavender, spice - really appealing. Love the silk through the mouthfeel along with the lifting acid giving it real brightness. Young and delicious but has the structure to age.
Bacon, earth, coffee beans, cherry/kirsch, smoke all swirling and shifting with time in the glass. Palate is spectacular, just has superb definition and length. Astounding length. Mixes power and delicacy perfectly. Wow.
Peach and spice, lemon, orange peel - quite citrus driven but feels expressive. I really like the sweetness profile on the palate, there is excellent palate. Still too young to show complexity but it will come with time. Lingers really nicely.

Lemon, white florals. In the house style with good acid and really excellent fruit depth. Purity over power.
