We have been fortunate to share an anniversary dinner with Beth and David for at least 20 years. They have been so kind to include us and we get to all share in our cellars for great dinners. Tonight was no different as the restaurant created a great meal around the wines we brought.
Amuse: Caraway Gougeres, Peekytoe Crab Crostini, Black Truffle Croquettes
Burrata salad - Endive, Pear, Cara Cara
Foie Gras Brûlée
Whole Roasted Romanesco - kumquats, daikon, brown butter Maitake - turnips, nori jam and shallot miso
Rack of lamb - braised beluga lentils, tarragon
Banana Budino and chocolate cake.
The wait staff was flawless, thank you to Aaron and Sue Kim!

Great color, smooth, nice bubbles, toasty without a lot of yeast, pure pleasure to start the evening after a week at Canyon Ranch.
