All wines were tasted blind.
Transparent light red with a slightly carmine rim. Very special bouquet with some sweetness, flowers, but also something salty. On the palate full bodied, sweet spices, almonds, bell peppers and in fact a lot of sweetness, but also a firm amount of acidity and bitterness as well as alcohol. Overall a juicy, not extremely complex wine.

Light red. The bouquet is a bit reticent, but it shows some rose hips and flowers. On the palate rose hips, bell peppers and pomegranates as well as white pepper. A lot of acidity and bitterness. Not really a refined glass of wine. Give it a few years; possibly it falls together a bit more.

Heavily corked.

Fairly dark red. The bouquet is pleasant with a lot of fruits like cherries and berry fruits, some pencil shavings, fruit yoghurt and tea. On the palate juicy cherries, a touch of bell peppers, refined acidity and bitterness. The tannin is a bit sticky with a good bite, but also a bit edgy. Did the wine get some oak? Overall a very nice wine.

Concentrated dark red color. In the bouquet a good complexity; licorice, black fruits like blueberries and sweet spices. On the palate a lot of dark berry fruits, plums as well. Espresso, chocolate and brush wood. Good acidity, tannin and bitterness. A concentrated, well balanced, juicy and complete wine. With a price tag of less than $14 this wine has an extremely good qpr!

Dark blood red. In the bouquet rustic with some barnyard, a lot of very ripe fruits, cinnamon, blood and earth. On the palate sweet and ripe red as well as black fruits, sweet spices like cinnamon. Some chocolate. Good acidity and soft tannin. A harmonious, spicy, creamy and fairly elegant wine. For about $15 a great qpr!

Medium dark red. In the bouquet vanilla and a fair amount of (sweet) spiciness and ripe fruits. On the palate ripe fruits like cherries and different berries, some oak, minerals, pleasant bit of sweetness and also good acidity, soft tannin with a pleasant bite and some bitterness. Already a very nice wine with a good length.

Red with a slightly carmine edge. The bouquet is pleasant with ripe fruits like cherries, a little barnyard, licorice, pepper and other spices. On the palate however there are some slightly oxidized impressions, spices, soft tannin and bitterness and ok acidity. Overall a lush wine, but not really impressive because it was already a little too mature and with too little tannin for much longer. According to the owner, who really likes this wine, it was as previous bottles and from a usually very reliable source. I was not the only taster who (tasting the wine blind and without discussion) thought it was a bit oxidized already. Concluding I don't think it is a faulty bottle so I score it…85.

Beautiful and complex bouquet with dark fruits, a lot of sweet as well as salty licorice and brush wood. On the palate a firm amount of (good) oak, ripe cherries and raspberries, some sweetness, soft tannin and bitterness and also good acidity. There was also a slight touch of metal. Overall a quite impressive wine from Israel and really a great pleasure to drink.

Clear purple red. In the bouquet cherries, raspberries and some pepper. On the palate very juicy red as well as black fruits and a lot of sweetness. Very mild and soft tannin. Some spiciness and also some acidity. But overall the wine lacks bite and structure. The wine is ok, but hardly above average.

Transparent red. The wine has a mild fruity bouquet with cherries, raspberries, some dried fruits and rose hips. On the palate first some metal comes into mind. There are fruits, firm acidity and some bitterness as well as some chocolate. Also quite much sweetness and the alcohol is showing. No real complexity; not my favorite wine.
