Far as Pinot Grigio goes, not half bad, nose better than palate, needs some acid
Viognier makes it more aromatic w/o being waxy, nice
Good but missing complexities of single vineyard bottlings
Huge step up from Failla, but different style, more oak, big butter, less restrained than other recent Kistlers I've had (single vnd)
Less oak than Kistler, but a little more elegant and complex
Good fruit, nice spice, solid wine
Tart cherry, elegant, silky smooth

Less dense and structured than previous vintages (like '06), and pales in comparison to estate Pisoni (which we drank last night), still good, just a little thin
Modern red ripe fruit, not recognizable as CDP really, spice
Drinking superbly tonight, very modern, very aromatic, red fruit central, not as good as HM or MV but amazing stuff to drink tonight
Modern fruit, fairly tannic, O'Shaugnessey ran circles around this
Big, tannic, red fruit driven Bordeauxesque, beautiful but desperately needs some cellar time
Cinnamon & nutmeg
(see all 3 vintages)
