Quite an unusual flavour profile, fresh and mineral, with notes of honey and spices but little in the way of fruit, has a hint of reduction, rounded and pure but hard to put your finger on, good length. Maybe it should have been drunk younger?

Recent release. Mature appearance, almost completely bricked through; complex nose, mature but fresh, transparent, vinous, nuts and undergrowth, roses and a strong note of peaty malt whisky; gentle and flowing palate, elegant and generous, mostly resolved tannins still provide gentle grip, fresh and harmonious, silky, light flavours of cedar and red berries; hints of green tea and almond milk on the sweet and supple finish, very good length. An exemplary 30 year old Barbaresco.
