This was the monthly tasting group with 20 of us drinking a crap ton of tasty Champagnes and deciding which local fried chicken outlet we preferred. Rooster's was the my winner with Revival a runner up and Skinner's a greasy third.
NV Laurent-Perrier Champagne Cuvée Rosé Brut 92 Points
France, Champagne
Light salmon color. Drank 1 glass over 20 minutes. Lovely as always, such a nicely balanced and elegant wine, with strawberry, strawberry mousse, creamy, light lifted. Love these.

NV Marie-Noëlle Ledru Champagne Grand Cru Extra Brut 91 Points
France, Champagne, Champagne Grand Cru
Small glass over 15 minutes. I really enjoyed this, but as always Extra Brut is note everyone's cup of Champagne. I think Frank Murray III's note is accurate. There is plenty of fruit and brightness along with the crisp acid to make this not the least bit austere or biting. A nice mix of citrus and minerality. Glad to have some.

Drank one glass to kick off the Champagne and Fried Chicken taste off. Second time drinking this on a month and it played exactly as the previous bottle. I'd be happy to drink more these.

NV R. & L. Legras Champagne Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Brut 91 Points
France, Champagne, Champagne Grand Cru
Drank a small glass over 15 minutes. Always good, but this was one of the better bottles I've had of this. Good yeast, autolytic, almond, pear, minerals. Much like a bottle on 10/25/15.
