A mostly Cote de Beaune Red Burgundy Evening

Last tasting of this ending year at my favorite Burgundy retailer!

And again our Nobbi is showing us why we all adore this Wine region with that stunning terroir and the Reference Pinot Noirs!

My first intense encounter with the Domaine Marquis D´Angerville, but for sure will not be my last.

As a reference and to calibrate our palates we opened Nobbis last bottle Bertheau Bonnes Mares 2014!

Hope this tasting story will be helpful for the large worldwide CT-crowd!

  One glass, brief note: this one is not for me, nose full of delicious flintstone, fullbodied, quite energetic, lacking elegance at the moment, I like great dry Rieslings much more, objektive a mineral tasty white Burgundy, but maybe only at this evaluation point a bit rustic and fat, *(**- ?)

  Just to compare with the other Burgundys of this evening we decanted this bottle for about two hours, not much to say about, WOTN for sure, precision, silkyness, persistence, density and overall an enormous lenght, wow! *(****), 94+ potential

  And to "celebrate" a high quality finish of this evening we choosed this bottle, silkyness, finesse, some floral hints, black tasty fruit, not that energetic as the BM before, but a very good bottle though, enjoy from next year on! **(*+ -?), 90+ potential
