• 2011 Les Forts de Latour

  France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Pauillac

  Deeply aromatic (all in a fruit cocktail) but at the same time elegant and really fine. It rests on a wooden base that is turning into a sweet thing by leaps and bounds.
  Including the mouth where prevails the softness that does not forget all the rotundity of its origins (length and density, in this order). Nice combination.
  
  Profundamente aromático (todo una Macedonia de frutas) pero al mismo tiempo elegante y fino. Se apoya en una base de madera que lo está volviendo dulce a pasos agigantados.
  Incluyendo la boca prevalece la suavidad que no olvida la rotundidad de sus orígenes (longitud y densidad, por este orden). Rica combinación.

• 2011 Château L'Eglise-Clinet

  France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Pomerol

  First a medicinal blow. After dissipating, notes of game and ripe red fruit appear, all good assembled with the wood, remembering caramel.
  On the palate has a frank and direct entry with class and a certain finesse in terms of acidity that unfortunately is truncated by somewhat short despite or because of that dryness of the wood
  
  Primero un golpe medicinal. Tras disiparse, aparecen notas de caza y de fruta roja madura, todas buen ensambladas con la madera, recordando al caramelo.
  Al paladar tiene una entrada franca y directa con clase y cierta finura en cuanto a la acidez que desgraciadamente se trunca al quedarse algo corta pese o por causa de a sequedad de la maderas

• 2005 Château Léoville Poyferré

  France, Bordeaux, Médoc, St. Julien

  A text-book Saint Julien: fragrant and delicate. Feminine. A little intrusive wood but harmonious in this wine. Aromas of plums, camphor and sand on the beach.
  In the mouth it is slightly tannic although tasty with the right amount of acidity and length. To be enjoyed with food right now. If you think of a wing chair I think it needs more time.
  
  Un San Julián de libro: fragante y suave. Femenino. Un poco intrusiva la madera pero armoniosa en el conjunto. Aromas a ciruelas, a alcanfor y a arena de la playa.
  En ámbito en la boca se muestra ligeramente tánica aunque sabrosa con la acidez y longitud justas. Para disfrutar con comida ahora mismo. Si piensas en un sillón orejero creo que necesita más tiempo.

• 2012 Vieux Château Certan

  France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Pomerol

  Not the best VCC ever and that despite putting the double in the cup (6cl).
  That initial note is clearly vegetal that little by little time dissipates transforming into yogurt memories of red, black and blue berries. All a little unidirectional.
  However in the mouth it is still impressive, delicious, a top wine in the Pomerol. Pastry notes are interspersed with some sweetness and density. Excellent aftertaste with elegance and category.
  
  No el mejor VCC que has bebido y eso pese a poner el doble en la copa (6cl).
  La nota inicial es claramente vegetal que poco a poco se disipa transformándose en recuerdos de yogurt de frutillos rojos, negros y azules. Todo un poquito unidireccional.
  Sin embargo en boca sigue siendo impresionante, delicioso, un top en el Pomerol. Notas de pastelería se entremezclan con algo de dulzor y de densidad. Excelente retrogusto con elegancia y categoría

• 2012 Château Palmer

  France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Margaux

  The elegant and careful version of a modern Margaux.
  The fruit and the rose petals are partly hidden by the wood. Even so, undeniable elegance and a recognizable superior category.
  On the palate the acidity is still little hard but the softness of the wood helps to lighten the last drink. It is a very long wine and full of nuances. Modernist style but always recommended although somewhat tired, boring perfection.
  
  La version elegante y cuidada de un Margaux moderno.
  La fruta y los pétalos de rosa quedan ocultos en parte por la madera. Aun así innegable elegancia y una categoría superior reconocible.
  Al paladar la acidez está todavía muy presente pero la suavidad de la madera ayuda a aligerar el último trago. Es un vino muy largo y lleno de matices. De estilo Modernista pero siempre recomendado aunque algo cansino, aburrida perfección.

• 2007 Château Haut-Brion 95 Points

  France, Bordeaux, Graves, Pessac-Léognan

  Aristocratic and scented on the nose where memories of stable and equine sweat are left behind to give way to the freshness that comes in spring through a window near a bougainvillea. I would kill for these interspersed saline and sweet aromas. Honeyed, smoked complexity.
  Velvet texture, length without limits and own boots with Chinese ink and pastry sweetness. It leaves a slight bitterness finish that is a bit out of tune. For this vintage and in my humble opinion, it is more than ready.
  How can I put my hands off my 05 ... I do not know, really.
  By the way some prestgious critics do not recommend this particular vintage ... Funny thing. Thank goodness there is CT
  
  Aristocrático y especiado en nariz donde los recuerdos a establo y a sudor de equino quedan atrás para dejar paso al frescor que entra en primavera Por una ventana cercana a una buganvilla. Complejidad ahumada, melosa. Mataría por estos entremezclados aromas salinos y dulces.
  Textura de terciopelo, longitud sin límites y notas propias a tinta china y dulzor de pastelería. Deja un ligero amargor final que desentona un poco. Para esta añada y en mi humilde opinión, está más que lista.
  Cómo puedo resistirme a abrir alguna de mis 05 ... No lo sé, de verdad. Por cierto algún crítico no recomienda Haut Brion en esta añada ... Cosas divertidas que pasan. Menos mal que existe CT.
